Energy rated windows as standard
Recent developments in the double glazing industry now means doubled glazed windows can be rated the same way as white goods. This simple scheme controlled by the BFRC (British Fenestration Rating Council) allows windows that have been put through a rigorous testing process to display a rating from A-G with an A rating being the best.

How Much Money Can I Save?
The British Fenestration Rating Council (BFRC) which runs the Window Energy rating Scheme (WERs) states on its website that, you could save up to £461 per year by switching from pre April 2002 single or double glazing to Energy Efficient Windows.
